AIDA 1: Discover the Fundamentals

An introductory course designed to discover freediving in a structured, supportive and safe environment. Open to complete beginners, AIDA 1 provides the basic knowledge and skills needed to practise freediving comfortably and within the limits of your experience. Breathing, relaxation, equalisation, immersion and safety procedures form the foundations of this first course.

Prerequisites: None.
Age: 18+, or 16+ with parental consent.

AIDA 2: Build Your Independence

47,000 XPF · 2 days · Depth: 12 to 20 m

The foundation course for recreational freediving. Open to beginners who are already comfortable in the water, AIDA 2 introduces static apnea, dynamic apnea, free immersion and constant weight. In the open water, you will also develop your equalisation, duck dive, vertical movement, body positioning, turns and buoyancy control.

Prerequisites: Comfortable in the water.
Age: 18+, or 16+ with parental consent.

AIDA 3: Develop Your Independence

66,000 XPF · 3 days · Depth: 24 to 30 m

A further step towards independent freediving. Building on the skills acquired in AIDA 2, this course introduces freefall, Frenzel equalisation, training tables and pressure management. The aim is to develop the skills needed to plan and carry out training sessions with partners of a similar level, both with and without a line.

Prerequisites: AIDA 2 Freediver certification.
Age: 18+, or 16+ with parental consent.

AIDA 4: Master Freediver

75,000 XPF · 4 days · Depth: 32 to 40 m

The most advanced AIDA course dedicated to recreational freediving. With a particular focus on constant weight, the course covers FRC diving, mouthfill, packing, physical preparation and training principles. It also introduces the first skills related to assisting with freediving supervision.

Prerequisites: AIDA 3 certification, minimum age 18, and a First Aid qualification including CPR obtained within the last two years.
